Brazilian midfielder Willians has signed at Udinese after departing native club Flamengo.
The Serie A club announced the capture of the 26-year-old on their
official website on Thursday but did not reveal any details over the transfer fee or length of his contract.
Willians arrives in Italy after three years with Flamengo, where he notched up 91 appearances, scoring two goals.
The defensive midfielder, who began his career with Santo Andre, helped Flamengo to the Brazilian title in 2009.
The deal fuels speculation Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah could be on the move this summer, having been heavily linked with a switch to Juventus, while Manchester United are also thought to be monitoring him.
