Messina tie down key duo

Atsushi Yanagisawa and Riccardo Zampagna will be with Messina next season.

Japan international Yanagisawa had been on loan from Kashima Antlers, but has now penned a three-year deal with the Serie A club.

Yanagisawa has been primarily used from the bench in his debut season in Italy, but has provided excellent cover for Ivica Iliev and Zampagna.

Zampagna's two-year deal is a major plus for Messina as he was the club's top scorer in Serie A following promotion last summer.

Messina have impressed following their elevation from Serie B last term and will be hoping to build on this season's top half finish.
