Bremen defender will seek talks with club executives

Werder Bremen defender Naldo has revealed he has received a big-money offer to return to Brazil with Internacional. The approach appeals to the 29-year-old and he wants to talk to Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs, who on Tuesday ruled out any January incomings or outgoings, during the club's winter training break in Turkey. Naldo has been a key player at the Weserstadion, but last season his campaign was disrupted by a persistent knee injury. The four-time Brazil international aspires to play in the 2014 World Cup and he thinks his chances will be enhanced by playing in his homeland at club level. Naldo, who is under contract at Bremen until 2013, told Deutsche Presseagentur: "I am to speak to Klaus Allofs. "I have received an offer and it is very lucrative. It's from Internacional in my home country. "Brazil is my country. You are able to pick up as much money as you can in Europe. (But) I am longing to play for Brazil at the 2014 World Cup. "This is my big goal. Joining Internacional would hand me more chances of doing so." Keep up to date with all the latest transfer news on Sky Sports News Radio.
