Caretaker criticises former colleague's man-management skills
Stuttgart caretaker manager Jens Keller has criticised former boss Christian Gross for being overly strict.
Keller worked as Gross' assistant prior to the ex-Tottenham manager's sacking at Mercedes-Benz Arena last week.
Gross paid the price for a terrible start to the season, which saw Stuttgart struggling at the bottom of the Bundesliga.
And Keller, who previously occupied a role in Stuttgart's Academy coaching staff prior to his promotion in December 2009, was less than impressed with his former colleague's man-management skills.
He told the club's
official website: "Christian Gross is a very strict manager, extremely dominant.
"I had been trying to discuss things that went wrong (in his era) from my point of view. But I did not find a sympathetic ear.
"I am a manager and have the ambition to work as a first-team manager. I am going to give my very best for Stuttgart and, if it is necessary, I am going to walk miles for the club."
