Klopp expects to make the headlines as table-toppers
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has denied that he wants to sign Miroslav Klose in the summer.
The Germany international will be out of contract at Bayern Munich at the end of the season and looks set to leave the Allianz Arena.
Reports have suggested that Klopp wants the 32-year-old for next season to add some experience to his already-table-topping Bundesliga squad.
But the Dortmund boss told
Deutsche Presseagentur: "We are top of the table and in such a situation you have to deal with the circumstance of tabloid newspapers putting you top of their headlines more frequently."
However, Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc, who reportedly met with Klose last week, has delivered a slightly coded message on the subject.
He said: "We have the desire to neither confirm nor state anything on rumours and gossip regarding our club."
