Bayern Munich have signed a professional contract with goalkeeper Maximilian Riedmuller from their reserves.
The 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year contract and will become new Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes' fourth goalkeeper in his first-team squad.
Riedmuller will have to compete for a place with Germany international Manuel Neuer, Hans-Jorg Butt and Rouven Sattelmaier.
He told Bayern's
official website: "I am absolutely delighted to have signed a professional contract at this club.
"I am happy to receive this sort of trust from Bayern Munich. I am well aware of my role inside the team and club and I will push forward to make a good progress as a player."
In the past two campaigns, Riedmuller featured in 33 matches in the third tier of German football.
