Portuguese referee Pedro Proenca will take charge of Saturday's UEFA Champions League final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Proenca, a 41-year-old financial director, will be assisted by compatriots Bertino Miranda and Ricardo Santos at Munich's Allianz Arena.
He has handled five Champions League matches this season, including the last-16 clash between Inter Milan and Marseille.
It will be the first time Proenca, who dished out 21 yellow cards and two reds in those games, has refereed Chelsea or Bayern in this year's competition.
His last game in charge of an English side was Manchester United's semi-final second-leg victory over Schalke 12 months ago.
Proenca has officiated more than 65 UEFA matches and was promoted to the governing body's elite list at the start of the 2009-10 campaign.
