Dardai interest hots up
Hertha Berlin's Pal Dardai says a number of clubs are monitoring his situation.
Hertha Berlin midfielder Pal Dardai says that a host of sides are interested in securing his services, although he denied that his exit from the Bundesliga outfit is set in stone. The Hungarian international, who has been with the Berlin outfit since 1997, was marginalised last season at Olympia Stadion and as a result has been strongly linked with a move to Arminia Bielefeld in the German press.
Bielefeld football director Reinhard Saftig is known to support the signing of Dardai but the club have also set their sights on Bayern Munich youngster Tobias Rau.
The Bayern man could prove too costly for Arminia at é¼1 million, and Dardai has revealed that whilst he has not decided to leave his current employers there are a number of sides currently chasing his signature.
"I know about six more teams that would like to sign me but I haven't got any detailed offer so far," Dardai told origo.hu.
"My agent is having talks with the club officials but they haven't spoken about my transfer fee yet.
"Of course I listen to all offers but it's not a must for me to leave Berlin, what's more I would only go if I received a very good offer."
