Ze Roberto and Rost futures to be decided in the spring
Hamburg general manager Bastian Reinhardt has announced that they will decide on the future of veterans Ze Roberto and Frank Rost next spring.
Both players are still first-team fixtures in the squad despite being in the latter days of their career, with their contracts set to expire at the end of the season.
Rost, who is 37, joined the club from Schalke in 2007, whilst former Brazilian international Ze Roberto, 36, moved to the Imtech Arena in 2009 from Bayern Munich.
"They are important players inside our setup and we are hoping they are going on performing like they have been doing recently," Reinhardt told the Hamburg-based
Morgenpost newspaper.
"Then we are going to come up in time and discuss their future.
"I am out to discuss it with them in detail then."
