Striker to stay club following speculation over future
Wolfsburg managing director Dieter Hoeness has confirmed striker Grafite will be staying at the club.
It had been suggested that the Brazilian could seal a switch away from Wolfsburg this summer, with a number of sides reportedly monitoring his situation.
However, Hoeness told
Kicker magazine that "the issue has been dealt with" and that Grafite will remain at the Volkswagen Arena.
The announcement is in keeping with Wolfsburg's determination to hold onto their key players for the new season.
It has recently been confirmed that Edin Dzeko and Zvjezdan Misimovic will also be staying at Wolfsburg, who are managed by new boss Steve McClaren.
