Christian Pulisic has committed his future to Borussia Dortmund by signing a new deal until 2020.
The USA international, who joined Dortmund in February 2015, has been linked with a move to Liverpool.
But now looks set to stay with the Bundesliga club after putting pen to paper on a new contract.
"We are very happy to have secured another very talented player, after Julian Weigl," said Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc, referring to 21-year-old midfielder Weigl who recently signed until 2021.
"Christian is already an important figure within the team and, like Julian Weigl, can become a cornerstone of our sporting future."
Pulisic has made 31 competitive appearances for Dortmund, scoring four goals and setting up seven.
"Here in Dortmund I find the best conditions for me. And here I have the chance to play in front of over 80,000 spectators. We have the best fans in the world - it cannot be better," he said.
Dortmund also confirmed on Monday the signing of Alexander Isak from Swedish side AIK Solna.
