Bundesliga strugglers sack head coach
Borussia Monchengladbach have sacked coach Michael Frontzeck after Saturday's 3-1 defeat by St Pauli.
The loss left them anchored at the bottom of the Bundesliga with just 16 points, two adrift of second-from-bottom Stuttgart.
Saturday's defeat came just a week after Monchengladbach threw away a two-goal lead against relegation rivals Stuttgart.
"Following the defeats against our direct relegation rivals Stuttgart and St Pauli, we have to rethink our situation," explained sporting director Max Eberl.
"It was a difficult decision for us."
