Anass Achahbar scores stunning overhead kick for Feyenoord

With his team on the brink of a fourth consecutive Eredivisie defeat, Feyenoord's Anass Achahbar produced a moment of sheer brilliance to haul his side level against Heerenveen.

Feyenoord manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is enduring a difficult in the De Kuip hot-seat, with the Rotterdam club without a win since early December.

So with his side trailing at home to mid-table Heerenveen, it's fair to say to pressure was beginning to mount on the former Arsenal, Barcelona and Rangers defender.

But Achahbar came to his manager's rescue, converting a sumptuous overhead kick past Heerenveen 'keeper Erwin Mulder to send the home faithful into raptures.

Sadly for the Feyenoord fans, a late goal by Heerenveen midfielder Joey van den Berg condemned Van Bronckhorst's to a 2-1 defeat.
