Eredivisie round-up: PSV Eindhoven go top after comfortable win

PSV Eindhoven returned to the top of the Eredivisie table after a 3-0 success at Roda JC sealed a third straight win on Saturday evening.
Luuk de Jong struck his 23rd and 24th goals of the season in the 10th and 59th minutes to put PSV in control and Davy Propper sealed the points with a third goal in the 81st minute.
Phillip Cocu's side hold a one-point advantage at the top after leapfrogging Ajax, who play Utrecht at home on Sunday.
Vincent Janssen fired four goals as AZ Alkmaar thrashed PEC Zwolle 5-1 to secure their biggest win of the season and climb within six points of the top three.
Janssen, who struck twice in each half, converted penalties in the 20th and 69th minutes and added further goals in the 25th and 83rd minutes to take his tally for the season to 27.
Dabney Dos Santos (64) was also on target for AZ while Kingsley Ehizibue notched a consolation for Zwolle, for whom Mickey van der Hart was shown a straight red card in the 66th minute for his foul on Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
Feyenoord remain four points clear of AZ in third place after their six-game winning run was halted by a 1-1 home draw against FC Groningen.
Michael de Leeuw's close-range finish gave Groningen a 24th-minute lead, but Tonny Vilhena restored parity with a 65th-minute header.
Vitesse Arnhem and Heracles remain seventh and sixth respectively after playing out a 1-1 draw at the GelreDome.
Milot Rashika broke the deadlock for Vitesse in the 48th minute, but Heracles extended their unbeaten run to five matches courtesy of Wout Weghorst's 81st-minute penalty after Sheran Yeini had handled.
