PSV Eindhoven bounced back from the defeat by Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord to sweep past Roda JC 4-0 at Philips Stadion.

Mexican defender Hector Moreno headed the home side in front from a corner in the 26th minute, with midfielder Siem de Jong adding a second from close range before half-time.

Moreno glanced in again from a corner just after the hour mark, with a penalty from De Jong wrapping things up with 19 minutes left.

Phillip Cocu's men moved to within three points of Ajax, who play Groningen later on Sunday, while Feyenoord will be looking to extend their five-point lead with victory at Sparta Rotterdam in the lunchtime kick-off.

In Saturday's other Eredivisie matches, Zwolle beat Vitesse 3-1 at MAC3PARK stadion, where goals from Mustafa Saymak and Nicolai Brock-Madsen put the home side in control.

Ricky van Wolfswinkel reduced the deficit but Danny Holla's curling free-kick on 55 minutes settled the result.

FC Twente defeated Willem II 2-1 at De Grolsch Veste to move into fifth place.
