Steven Berghuis' double salvaged a point for Feyenoord as the Eredivisie leaders were only able to open up a one-point advantage over Ajax after drawing 2-2 at PEC Zwolle.

Feyenoord went into the match top on goal difference after Ajax won at NEC Nijmegen on Saturday and perhaps Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team were feeling the pressure as they made a terrible start, quickly falling two goals behind.

Queensy Menig, on-loan from Feyenoord's title rivals Ajax, did his parent club a favour after three minutes when he raced on to a through ball and rounded goalkeeper Brad Jones to score.

The hosts extended their lead 10 minutes later, this time Bram van Polen got in behind the Feyenoord defence before slotting the ball past Jones.

Berghuis pulled a goal back after 26 minutes with a low shot that Mickey van der Hart got a hand to but could not keep out and the on-loan Watford winger netted the equaliser early in the second half with another effort after cutting in from the right side.

Feyenoord pushed hard for a winning goal but were frustrated by Van der Hart, who made saves to deny Dirk Kuyt and Michiel Kramer, while Jens Toornstra missed from close range.

Zwolle could have snatched victory in injury time but Jones made a decent stop to push Stef Nijland's shot wide.

PSV Eindhoven moved to within four points of Ajax as their impressive winning run at the Philips Stadion continued with a 5-0 victory over Willem II. Nicolas Isimat-Mirin struck in first half injury time before Marco van Ginkel doubled the lead just after half-time.

A flurry of late goals from Gaston Pereiro, Andres Guardado and Van Ginkel again gave PSV a ninth successive home league win.

FC Utrecht's recent good form continued with a 3-0 home win against FC Twente. Second half goals from Gyrano Kerk, Nacer Barazite and Richairo Zivkovic gave the fourth-placed team a fourth straight victory.

FC Twente remain seventh and are a point behind AZ Alkmaar after their 1-1 draw at home with struggling Roda JC Kerkrade. Alireza Jahanbakhsh put AZ ahead but the team second from bottom of the table equalised just before half-time through defender Daryl Werker.
