Striker moves to Holland on five-year deal

Heerenveen have completed the signing of Michal Papadopoulos for an undisclosed fee from Czech Republic side Mlada Boleslav. The 24-year old striker, who previously played for Arsenal and Bayer Leverkusen, has signed a five-year deal with the Dutch club. Heerenveen are well known for their scouting of strikers and over the past decade the talents of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Klaas Jan Huntelaar have emerged. Papadopoulos is now looking to find his way in the Eredivisie as Heerenveen boss Trond Sollied turns attention toward the 2009/10 season.
