Miss of the season contender from Heerenveen's Mark Uth

Heerenveen's Mark Uth produced one of the misses of the season during Sunday's Eredivisie clash with Ajax.

With his side trailing 3-1, the striker received a low cross from the right on the edge of the six-yard box and it looked a simple task to score and pull his side back into the game.

But Uth inexplicably decided to try and control the ball and made a complete mess of the chance. His side went on to lose 4-1.
