Danish teenager Viktor Fischer will join Ajax in the summer after penning a three-year deal with the Eredivisie giants. The highly-rated 16-year-old striker will arrive in Amsterdam from native club FC Mitjylland at the end of the season, coach Frank de Boer has confirmed. Fischer, whose contract will keep him at Ajax until summer 2014, is expected to feature in the Godenzonen A1-team, where many of the club's current first-team stars started out. The youngster will hope to follow in the footsteps of fellow Danes Christian Eriksen and Nicolai Boilesen, who worked their way up at Ajax before breaking into the first-team.

Return

Ajax are also on the verge of bringing RKC Waalwijk winger Derk Boerrigter back to Amsterdam. According to newspaper De Telegraaf, the two clubs have agreed a deal for the 24-year-old and are negotiating a transfer fee. Boerrigter, who only has one year left on his deal at second-tier Dutch club Waalwijk, played for Ajax youth between 2005 and 2007. The forward has scored 17 goals in 26 league games this season, establishing himself as one of the top players in the Jupiler League.
