Heerenveen striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar has opened talks with Feyenoord, according to reports in the Dutch media.
Huntelaar met with Feyenoord coach Erwin Koeman and technical director Mark Wotte on Thursday after Heerenveen acceded to their rivals' request to open talks with Huntelaar.
Huntelaar is expected to depart Abe Lenstra Stadion in the summer with Ajax, AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord all registering an interest in the former PSV Eindhoven prodigy.
Hamburg, Fiorentina and Sevillian duo Real Betis and Sevilla have also been linked with a move but Huntelaar is believed to be keen to continue his career in Holland.
