Technical director pledges loyalty to Feyenoord

Feyenoord technical director Leo Beenhakker is adamant he will not walk away from the Eredivisie strugglers. The Dutch club have endured a disappointing start to the season and currently sit 13th in the table after seven league games, with their last three matches ending in defeat. But Rotterdam-born Beenhakker, who has wide coaching experience at club and international level, has pledged his loyalty to the outfit. "I have never thought of leaving," Beenhakker told Voetbal International. "I never walk away from problems. Sometimes things may be difficult, but the situation is not so critical that even for a moment have I thought about quitting."

Dedication

Beenhakker, who has coached the Netherlands national side, also hailed the dedication of head coach Mario Been and the club's players. "When I see these guys train, I see incredible quality," he added. "I just feel that a turnaround is going to come. We all know what this club lacks and needs, I keep them working. "At present what you see is not good, but unrest is not helpful for anyone. Feyenoord should get out of trouble and I will do my best for the club and do everything possible to help."
