New NEC deal for Worm

Rutger Worm has been handed a new deal by NEC Nijmegen.

Rutger Worm has been handed a new deal by NEC Nijmegen, while Frank Demouge is on the brink of a move to ADO Den Haag.

Worm has impressed the NEC paymasters with his efforts this term and has been handed an extra season, with his new deal running until the summer of 2007.

The 19-year-old striker has risen through the youth system at NEC and made his first team debut this season.

Although he failed to score in eight appearances, Worm did enough to earn a new contract and will hope to prove his worth to the club next season.

Demouge (pictured) has passed a medical at ADO and is set to sign a two-year deal in the coming days.

The striker slipped down the pecking order at NEC this term and was informed in March that his expiring contract would not be renewed.
