Eredivisie round-up: Ajax close gap on PSV

In the Dutch league Ajax moved to within a point of leaders PSV after a 4-1 victory over AZ Alkmaar

​Ajax closed the gap back to one point on Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven with a 4-1 win at home to AZ Alkmaar on Sunday.

Arkadiusz Milik and a Davy Klaasen double put Ajax in control after 53 minutes, before they saw Anwar El-Ghazi sent off and Vincent Janssen pulled one back in the 65th minute.

But Milik struck again in the 90th minute to seal the result.

Elsewhere, Rydell Poepon hit a double as Roda JC Kerkrade won 5-0 at Heracles. Georgiy Zhukov, Mike van Duinen and Maecky Ngombo also made it onto the scoresheet for the away side.

Dirk Kuyt scored the winner as Feyenoord came from behind to win 2-1 at Utrecht.

Sebastien Haller put the home side ahead after four minutes, but Tonny Vilhena then Kuyt struck back for for Feyenoord before the break.
