Manchester City progressed into the last 16 of the Women's Champions League after a 4-0 second-leg win over Russian side Zvezda secured a 6-0 aggregate victory.

First-half goals from Jennifer Beattie and Lucy Bronze, followed by further second-half finishes again from Beattie and then Isobel Christiansen, inflicted a first home Champions League defeat on the Russians since 2009.

Chelsea fell to a 4-1 aggregate defeat by Wolfsburg after a 1-1 away draw, which came after Sara Bjork Gunnarsdottir cancelled out Eniola Aluko's first-half goal for the visitors.
