Arsenal are the biggest drifters in the Champions League outright market after being pitted with Bayern Munich.
Premier League leaders Arsenal are the biggest drifters in the Champions League outright market after being pitted with holders and favourites Bayern Munich in Monday's draw. The Gunners were 16/1 after settling for second place in Group F last week, but are now out to 28/1 with the Bundesliga champions unmoved at 5/2. Manchester City were also dealt a major blow as they're up against Barcelona, with City drifting from 14/1 out to 16/1, though the Catalan giants have also lengthened from 9/2 to 5/1. That puts fierce rivals Real Madrid ahead of Barcelona in the pecking order as they're now 9/2 second favourites having earned a favourable tie with Schalke. Meanwhile, Manchester United have looked a different side in Europe this season and they've actually shortened from 16/1 to 14/1 as they're expected to oust Olympiacos. Chelsea will face former striker Didier Drogba's Galatasaray outfit and have come in to 12/1 from 14/1 as they're odds-on (1/4) to qualify for the quarter-finals. Sky Bet's Dale Tempest said: "The tie of the round has to be Manchester City against Barcelona, in what will be a huge test for both managers. "We can't separate the sides in the betting on the first leg at the Etihad Stadium with both priced 8/5 for the win, though Barcelona are 2/5 to progress overall."
