Atletico Madrid look to maintain their unbeaten record in the Europa League when they host Valencia.
Los Colchoneros look to extend impressive home run
Atletico Madrid will be confident of making the last four of the Europa League when they entertain Valencia at Vicente Calderon.
Quique Sanchez Flores' side are still unbeaten in the second tier of European football since dropping into the tournament having failed to win a single home game in the UEFA Champions League group stages.
They have two crucial away goals after holding their opponents to a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture.
And, on their favoured home soil, they will fancy their chances of securing a semi-final tie against either Liverpool or Benfica.
Los Colchoneros have kept clean sheets in their last four home games, three of which they have won.
And they will be further boosted by the fact that they met and comprehensively beat Valencia 4-1 just a few weeks ago at Vicente Calderon.
They will also take heart in their opponent's torrid away record - Valencia haven't won since beating Xerez in January 10 outings ago.
Los Che have struggled for form away from home this term which has hindered their challenge to the top two in La Liga.
It is also worth noting that they have drawn their last three Europa League games and have managed just two clean sheets in the tournament to date.
Team news
Jose Antonio Reyes and Juan Valera are doubts for Atletico, who have few other issues to contend with.
Luis Perea, who missed Sunday's 3-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna through suspension, is free to return to the squad.
Valencia will be without Ever Banega and Bruno who are both suspended for the trip to Vicente Calderon.
Los Che also have a long list of injuries to contend with which includes Carlos Marchena and David Albelda.
They have serious problems at the back with defenders Luis Miguel, Jeremy Mathieu and Angel Dealbert all out.
