Snood wearers of the world have been united this week amid widespread criticism and while few would excuse some of the violent scenes that have ensued in the capital (what Prince Charles and Camilla have got to do with snoods God only knows) it's refreshing to see some of our top sportsmen care passionately about something other than Weatherfield.
