Lethal Bizzle admits to skysports.com his undying love for Ian Wright along with the rest of his Football Firsts

We all know Lethal Bizzle for his iconic record Pow and the London-based rapper is set to re-release the club banger by popular demand. Seven years after its original release and you can still hear it loud and clear in bars and clubs with grime lovers regarding it as one of the most notable records in the last decade. Re-released on the 14th February, a stellar cast of grime artists will appear on the track such as JME, Wiley, Chipmunk, Face, P Money, Ghetts and Kano. Taking time out from a hectic promotion schedule, Lethal Bizzle told Football Firsts about his own talent on the pitch as well as behind the mic.

Arsenal
There's a bit of a twist in this to be fair. My dad tried to get me to support Tottenham and I just wasn't into it. I used to say 'I like Ian Wright though' but he said 'no, you're a Tottenham fan'. I just had to put my foot down and say I was an Arsenal fan. Ian Wright sealed the deal for me. My dad was so chuffed about beating us for the first time in the league for donkey's years (this season) - he's well over the moon about that. I went to watch Tottenham in the Champions League and was winding my mate up about how their stadium looks. There's only one team in North London - they're going to be called Stratford Hotspurs soon anyway.

Friendly v Leyton Orient
I was about 14 and can't remember too much about it to be fair. I just remember being starstruck - I used to think that only special people could go and watch a football match. I was in a daze watching it - it was quite emotional. I don't remember the match I just remember the feeling. It's amazing, it almost felt like it wasn't real. A good day out.

Ian Wright
He was definitely my hero. When I was growing up he was the guy on the back of my Arsenal shirt - he was the guy I wanted to be. A definite Arsenal legend, he did a lot for us, got a lot of goals, he was Arsenal through and through. He was a real footballer and he represented somewhere from like I'm from, a hard upbringing. It was something he was really passionate about and he showed that on the pitch. He loved playing football and scoring goals. A real passionate player.

Ruud van Nistelrooy
Van Nistelrooy used to really get on my nerves, he was like a little baby. I loved the elbow drop that Martin Keown did on him. That was quality, absolutely quality. In terms of Tottenham players probably Gallas now but Van Nistelrooy is the one I definitely remember. He was a diver, don't get me wrong he was a good footballer and used to score goals, but especially against us he used to always try and cheat. Diving, moaning, trying to get us sent off - he was like one of those kids in the classroom that used to run off and tell the teacher. A real sissy.

Juventus
Funnily enough I think it was a Juventus one. I was into Italian football and Juventus were my second team. Someone got me that kit, or I might have taken it actually! I used to follow Serie A. The black and white kit, it was a good one. In fact I can't have taken it - I must have found it somewhere!

Highbury visit
I went to Highbury in the 1990s for a tour and we got to train there. I met George Graham, got a tour round the whole stadium, I nicked a bit of grass. I was only in primary school, about 9, and it was great.

Grasshoppers
I used to play semi-pro and was training with Wimbledon for a while. My first team was Grasshoppers, a local Sunday team. We weren't too bad to be fair. I was trying to find myself as a player so wasn't my best then. We played down in Walthamstow. I played left wing or striker, a bit of a left-footer. My gameplan was to cut inside from the left wing, like Thierry Henry, and crack it in left foot top corner. I was quite nippy as well, the ball was played up front and I used to do the rest!

Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers
I used to play that loads and my parents got a bit mad. They were a big influence on me and I also used to listen to a lot of Motown like Lionel Richie. My dad was a DJ as well and he used to play all kinds of stuff. I had to bring Pow back...the people asked for it!

POW 2011 will kick of 2011 with a bang for Bizzle, who will follow the release with a Best Of Bizzle album in February, featuring some of his biggest hits over the past years including co-labs with Dizzee Rascal, Mr. Hudson, Donaeo, Luciana, US rapper Twister and more to be revealed.
