Benfica have signed goalkeeper Rafael on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Internacional, according to emanating reports in Brazil.
The 20-year-old is rated as one of the more promising goalkeepers in the country and will join the Portuguese giants in January.
Rafael, though, is likely to be loaned out to another club in Portugal as Jorge Jesus' side have plenty of options between the sticks, with Eduardo acting as back-up to Artur.
However, Benfica or Internacional are yet to officially confirm the transfer.
