African Champions League winners TP Mazembe booked their place in the semi-finals of the Fifa Club World Cup after edging out Mexico's Pachuca in Abu Dhabi.
The DR Congo side scored the only goal of the game through Mbeza Beli after 21 minutes in the Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium.
They then held on for the remainder of the game despite losing Stoppila Sunzu to a second yellow card nine minutes from time.
Mazembe will now face the Copa Libertadores holders Internacional of Brazil in the last four. The Porto Alegre club won this competition in 2006.
