Governing body try and deal with the challenges in Bosnian football
Fifa have appointed a temporary team of officials to run Bosnia-Herzegovina's football federation.
The main aim for this team of officials is to try and devise and a way that their ban from international matches can be lifted.
Should a solution be found, it would enable Bosnia to resume their European Championship campaign on June 3rd against Romania and June 7th against Albania.
"A six person normalization committee with football personalities from Bosnia-Herzegovina has been established and put in place with immediate effect," a
Fifa statement said.
Bosnia was suspended after they failed to respond to requests from Fifa and Uefa to elect a single president.
As a result of the aftermath of the Bosnian war, the football administration has been split along ethical lines and with a Croat, Serb and Bosnian sharing control.
Fifa have given Bosnia a list of demands with which they will need to comply in order to return to the international fold, which involves creating a new leadership to deal with financial, sporting and administrative matters.
The temporary officials were given a 26th May deadline by which to hold a general assembly to adopt the new measures, but this was rejected at a meeting on 29th March.
The deadline has now been pushed back to 30th November by when new leaders and an executive committee need to be elected.
"The emergency panel's mandate will end when a new ruling executive body is properly elected," the statement added.
