Former national team boss also set to snub China offer
Luis Fernandez has admitted he may take a break from the game after confirming he has quit his post as Israel manager.
The 52-year-old took charge of the Israeli national team in March 2010 ahead of their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
However, they failed to make next summer's tournament in Poland and Ukraine, finishing third in Group F behind Croatia and Greece.
Fernandez's contract expired at the end of the qualifiers and the former PSG chief confirmed he would not be signing a new deal.
"I'm at the end of my [Israel] contract and I have no desire to go on," he told
RMC Radio.
"I've spoken with the president of the federation and conducted a debriefing of what we've done over the past 18 months.
Young
"To finish third in our qualifying group behind Greece and Croatia is not too bad with the young team we had.
"After that, we had a few things to say to each other. We can't work together."
Fernandez has been offered an immediate return to club management with Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
However, he appears reluctant to make the move to China or any club in the immediate future, adding: "I haven't got back to them [Shenhua].
"I can't see myself taking over a club in the coming weeks either, that's a certainty."
