Lidl agrees deal with English, Scottish and Welsh FAs

German supermarket chain Lidl has announced sponsorship deals with the English, Scottish and Welsh FAs.
The agreements will see it become the "official supermarket of the England team" and a grassroots partner with all three bodies.
Lidl will finance professional coaching for children in each country in three-year contracts which will run until 2018.
England's intense sporting rivalry with Germany has run for decades and their most notable victory came in the 1966 World Cup final at Wembley, where the host nation won 4-2.
That has been put aside, however, as Lidl has agreed "multi-million pound" deals both with them and the two other national associations.
Lidl's investment follows an announcement earlier this year that its German competitor Aldi is to be Team GB's 'official' grocer at next summer's Rio Olympics.
British supermarket Sainsbury's sponsored the 2012 London Paralympics while Waitrose provides backing to England's cricketers.
