England boss Fabio Capello believes Manchester United stalwart Sir Alex Ferguson is the best manager of all time.
Ferguson has been in the United hotseat for 24 years and will overtake the legendary Sir Matt Busby as the longest-serving boss in the club's history on Sunday.
The veteran Scot, who has won 11 Premier League titles and two European Cups during his tenure at Old Trafford, shows no signs of stopping as he approaches his 69th birthday.
And Capello believes Ferguson, who has built several winning sides at Old Trafford, deserves to be recognised as No.1.
The England boss said: "In the history of football, the best manager is Sir Alex.
"For such a long time he managed the team and he has changed a lot of things.
"He changed the team, he changed the players, he has been really, really good for the club."
The Scot also received warm Christmas wishes from Capello, although he will not quite match the Italian's lofty expectations.
"I wish him another 20 years of management at the top level," said Capello.
