Midfielder insists there are no communication issues

England international Gareth Barry has defended head coach Fabio Capello following mounting criticism of the Italian. In the build-up to England's friendly with Ghana his commitment to the cause and decision-making ability came under renewed fire. His modest grasp of the English language was also attacked along with his controversial decision to release five key players ahead of the Wembley clash. Barry was made captain for the 1-1 draw with The Black Stars and the Manchester City man insists Capello has no problems communicating with his players.

Communication

"The communication between the manager and players has always been good, has always been there," said Barry. "You can read things that are pretty negative but the important thing is the manager is getting his points across on the pitch. "Any little negative seems to be getting blown up. But I'm sure the manager knows that comes as part of being England manager."
