Scotland international Chris Iwelumo believes his team-mates can hold their own against the likes of Czech Republic and Spain.
The Tartan Army face a tough task overcoming the likes of European Championship and World Cup winners Spain and Euro 2004 semi-finalists Czech Republic in their quest to qualify for the 2012 European Championship in Poland and Ukraine.
Scotland top the group after two games following a last-ditch win over Liechtenstein last month, but face a tricky-looking trip to Prague on Friday before welcoming Spain to Hampden Park on Tuesday.
The Burnley striker, who missed the Liechtenstein game with a hamstring injury, told
skysports.com that anything can happen in the race for qualification from Group I.

"It is always going to be tough to qualify when you come up against such quality opposition and it is just a case of trying to scrap for as many points as you can because everyone slips up somewhere down the line," he said.
"The opening draw in Lithuania left everyone disappointed, but it was a decent result considering that the same side went over to Czech Republic and beat them 1-0.
"We've just got to go into every game with a lot of confidence, whether it be against Spain or Liechtenstein, but there is a great club atmosphere in the camp at the moment, so hopefully we can use that and take it into the games."
