Scotland forward Steven Naismith believes his side should have scored more in their 1-0 European Qualifiers win over Georgia.
Gordon Strachan's team spurned numerous chances throughout the clash at Ibrox, with an own goal from Georgia defender Akaki Khubutia settling the game.
Despite their lack of composure in front of goal, the Everton man feels Scotland's performance warranted three points.
"I thought we played well, pushing them right back and creating all the chances,'' Naismith told Sky Sports 5.
"In the second half we knew they would be a different team but we'd seen how they changed shape and we came away with the three points.
"I think all through the forward line and the midfield we've done really well. A couple of times we probably rushed it but when we did knock it around and wait we did create chances.
"The only disappointing thing of the night is we didn't score more.''
However, Naismith said it was not a case of anxiety forcing Scotland into mistakes.
"I don't think it was about tension, it was just eagerness to get the second goal because it makes you relax a bit more,'' he added.
"The boys at the back did a really professional job, they were great defensively and going forward and all round it was a professional performance.
"We wanted to get the first points, definitely that was the feeling amongst the boys today. We knew what we had to do.
"The game plan worked very well and the only thing was there weren't more goals. That's the first win now and we'll put all the focus on Poland.''
