Former Real Madrid coach wants success at Euro 2012

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has signed a new deal which will see him lead the national team for at least the next two years. The 61-year-old's former deal was set to expire after Euro 2012, but he will now continue in the post for the next few years. Del Bosque refused to reveal the length of his contract with La Furia Roja, however, it seems likely that he will remain until after the 2014 World Cup. "I have already renewed my contract as national team coach," said Del Bosque in an interview with Radio Marca. Del Bosque took the reins of the national team after Euro 2008 and led them to success in the World Cup in South Africa just two years later. Spain were drawn in Group C at Euro 2012, alongside Italy, Republic of Ireland and Croatia and start the tournament with a match against the Azzurri on June 10.
