Ross County scored twice during the final four minutes as they came from behind to beat Hamilton 3-1 and secure only their second away Scottish Premiership victory of the season.

With 86 minutes on the clock, and the game seemingly heading for a 1-1 draw, Stewart Murdoch nudged County in front from close range, before Liam Boyce added a third on the break from Michael Gardyne's assist.

Yet it was hosts Hamilton who had conjured up a clinical opening goal after 27 minutes involving Dougie Imrie and Carlton Morris who laid the ball into the path of Gramoz Kurtaj to tap home from inside the six yard box.

And in this end-to-end encounter at New Douglas Park, County levelled matters just before the hour mark through Craig Curran who was in the right spot to fire home on the rebound after Jackson Irvine had crashed an effort against the bar.

Elsewhere, Iain Vigurs scored twice as Inverness beat Kilmarnock 2-1 at the Caledonian Stadium.

The hosts went ahead on 14 when an error in the Killie defence allowed Liam Polworth to feed Vigurs whose low strike beat keeper Jamie MacDonald.

And Caley Thistle, who went into the match having netted just six times in eight home league games this season, doubled their lead on 32.

Once again, the scorer was Vigurs, courtesy of Miles Storey's assist. And that was the way it remained until three minutes from time when Mark Connolly prodded home a late consolation at the far post.

Stephen Pearson played a starring role at Fir Park where Motherwell beat Dundee 3-1 in the battle between two out of form sides.

Motherwell went ahead inside six minutes as Pearson laid the ball into the path of Scott McDonald who was granted the freedom of the Dundee penalty area to score from 12 yards.

And the hosts were deservedly two goals ahead on 32 through Louis Moult who a few minutes earlier had struck a post.

From Josh Law's corner, Moult headed home from close range and the same player nearly added a third shortly afterwards but nodded wide from five yards.

But the Dark Blues reduced the margin in the 68th minute as Gary Harkins latched on to Kane Hemmings' low cross to score from 10 yards.

However, in the final minute of the 90, Pearson sealed the points from the edge of the six-yard box to give 'Well only their second win in eight. Dundee, meanwhile, remain winless in eight.

Kris Doolan scored the only goal at Tannadice where Partick Thistle edged past bottom of the table Dundee United 1-0.

Following a goalless first half, the deadlock was finally broken on 51 when Partick netted with their first real attempt of the afternoon.

From Stuart Bannigan's assist, Kris Doolan located the bottom left-hand corner of the net from 12 yards.

John Rankin, Paul Dixon and Blair Spittal all did their best for United who missed chance after chance but are now nine points adrift.
