Oldham v Crawley preview
Friday 31 August 2018 13:16, UK
Oldham will again be without strikers Sam Surridge and Ishmael Miller when they host a Crawley side reeling from the departure of manager Harry Kewell.
Both players continue to work their way back from hamstring injuries, which is likely to give Jose Baxter another opportunity to partner Chris O'Grady. Midfielder Giles Coke could return after sitting out the last two games.
Defender Cameron Dummigan (groin) is closing in on a return after a lengthy lay-off but will be eased back in.
Experienced players Jimmy Smith and Filipe Morais will be in charge of Crawley after Kewell left to take over at Notts County. Experienced centre-back Bondz N'Gala is set to make his debut after joining on an initial one-month contract on Friday.
The Reds are unlikely to make many unforced changes after ending a four-match winless run in all competitions by beating Bury on Saturday. Morais could miss out with a knock sustained in that game, while Panutche Camara is an option to come into the starting XI after he came off the bench to score last weekend.
