Former Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram undergoing cancer treatment in hospital, the Scottish Premiership club have announced.
The 58-year-old made 184 appearances for the Gers over seven years and the club sent their well wishes to the Goram family.
In a Twitter statement, Rangers added: "Club officials are in regular contact with Andy and his family. The family have asked for privacy at this time. Everyone at Rangers wishes "The Goalie" well at this difficult time."
Goram won 10 trophies while at Rangers, including five Scottish Premier Division titles. Internationally, he earned 43 caps for Scotland and was selected for four major tournaments.
His achievements at both club and country level saw Goram inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
Goram played for a number of other Scottish clubs, including Hibernian, Motherwell and Hamilton, and also had a loan spell at Manchester United in 2001, making two appearances. His time at the Premier League club saw him pick up a title winners medal for the 2000/2001 season.
Since his retirement, Goram has coached at various clubs in Scotland.
