PAOK Salonika coach Laszlo Boloni has warned Tottenham Hotspur against underestimating them on Thursday evening.

Greek club's boss claims they are no pushovers

PAOK Salonika coach Laszlo Boloni has warned Tottenham Hotspur against underestimating them ahead of the two teams' Europa League clash on Thursday evening. The Greek club welcome Spurs to the Toumba Stadium in Group A with all 32,000 tickets sold out, as the home team anticipate a fiercely fought encounter with their fans creating a cauldron-like atmosphere. Boloni believes that Spurs could find it intimidating and said on Wednesday: "This is their (supporters') game. Tomorrow is their day. "They have to show what they can do. Tomorrow is Sunday for PAOK fans. "Sunday is when everyone goes to church and here everyone comes to the stadium. In this way I hope with our players we can give them a good present." Spurs manager Harry Redknapp is likely to leave out Emmanuel Adebayor, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale from his team as they have Liverpool to play in the Premier League on Sunday.

Rotation policy

"He (Redknapp) can now do this because it's the group stage and he thinks he has a group strong enough to change a few things," said the Romanian when asked on this matter. "If you have as many players as they, you can rotate. He thinks that is right for his team in this moment. In four or five months when he plays in the latter stages he might change his mind." "Tottenham can go far," he added. "They are one of the favourites for the tournament. They are one of the best teams in England." Defender Stelios Mazelas is also confident of winning against the London club in their own backyard and enthused: "I am not afraid in these games. You must not be. You can only win from games like this as a player. "If we are good and Tottenham are good there is nothing to worry about."
