League One: Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony in Twitter rant after defeat

Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony launched a scathing attack on his own players and fans after another home defeat.
Saturday's 2-0 loss to Colchester was their fourth in five league games at London Road and just one win from six has left Darren Ferguson's side five points adrift of the play-off places in League One.
But MacAnthony defended his manager, instead highlighting mistakes made by certain players during an 11-tweet rant.
His Twitter frustrations included:
"...that it's always the manager who is held responsible when a team of players fold like a stack of cards when the going gets tough!
"...that a player of Joe Newell's ability can miss an open goal from five yards out early on. He should be scoring 10/15 a season.
"...that a striker I paid half a million for, minutes before Colchester score, scuffs a great chance eight yards out with nobody near him.
"...that both our full backs who (saw) plenty of the ball couldn't deliver any crosses of any merit or quality or with urgency.
"...that as going has got tough many thousands of fans have, bit like our players, folded and taken their ball and gone home!"
MacAnthony admitted he was frustrated "with everything" but signed off: "I'll still pay the bills and next Saturday will pay thousands to watch my team play and hopefully win."
Dublin-born MacAnthony, a millionaire property entrepeneur, took over as Peterborough chairman in September 2006 following the departure of Barry Fry and became club's owner the following summer.
Peterborough won promotion from League Two to the Championship in successive seasons in 2009 and won promotion back to the second tier after relegation in 2010, only to drop back down to League One again in 2013.
