Super 6: Land £250k for six correct scores

Jeff Stelling provides us with his advice for this weekend's Soccer Saturday Super 6, with £250,000 up for grabs.

It's an all Premier League affair for this week's line-up of six 3pm kick-offs, with Jeff struggling to see past the favourites despite a host of upsets in midweek.

Chelsea v Stoke

Most popular prediction: 2-0 (31.8%)

Diego Costa (centre) of Chelsea celebrates scoring his team's second goal against Norwich

This is an interesting game, because Chelsea have obviously turned the corner, while they've scored 10 goals in their last two home games in all competitions. They were a bit fortunate to beat Norwich though, with Diego Costa a yard offside. I'm really not sure how the official missed that one.

I still think Chelsea have defensive issues, and Stoke have the players to exploit them, particularly Xherdan Shaqiri, while Marko Arnautovic seems to be a big game player. Therefore, while I do think Chelsea will win, I've got Stoke to score.

Everton v West Ham

Most popular prediction: 2-1 (28.2%)

I'm going with the majority here, but West Ham were fantastic against Spurs - they defended brilliantly. Mark Noble surely has to get an England chance with the way he's playing. However, they're not as good away, with just one win in nine and a lot of draws.

Everton are inconsistent but on their day, they are irresistible and West Ham are struggling for defenders, which is fantastic news for Romelu Lukaku and his Golden Boot push.

Jeff predicts: 2-1

Manchester City v Aston Villa

Most popular prediction: 4-0 (31.2%)

Adam Lallana puts Liverpool 1-0 up against Manchester City

You can't get away from a home win, even though City were just pitiful at Liverpool midweek. Ironically, James Milner was the best midfielder on the pitch on Wednesday, and he was allowed to leave City.

However, while City were poor, Villa are worse than anybody - we know that - and it's the best home attack against one of the worst away defences, so I can only see goals for the home side.

Jeff predicts: 3-0

Newcastle v Bournemouth

Most popular prediction: 1-1 (29.1%)

Steve McClaren looks dejected on the bench during Newcastle's 1-0 defeat at Stoke

I'm with the majority again. One point could be enough to see Newcastle move out of the relegation places but enough to save Steve McClaren's job? Not according to some of the headlines going around.

I do like McClaren, but their run is just unacceptable. They were really poor against Stoke and I don't understand why Ayoze Perez is being left on the bench again and again, when they need somebody with spark.

Bournemouth are better away, with only one defeat away in nine at Arsenal, and I certainly think they will get something here.

Jeff predicts: 1-1

Southampton v Sunderland

Most popular prediction: 2-1 (26.2%)

Southampton defender Jose Fonte shows his dejection after Steve Cook put Bournemouth 1-0 up
Image: Southampton slumped to a 2-0 loss at Bournemouth in midweek

This is the one that Southampton won 8-0 last season, but they were anaemic at Bournemouth in midweek and it's hard to know which Saints side will turn up here.

Sunderland have the worst defence on the road and they were more than a shade fortunate to get a point at Palace, so it's hard to really fancy either side strongly.

Saints have scored 12 goals in their last six home games so, even without Charlie Austin, they should have too much firepower for their visitors.

Jeff predicts: 2-0

Swansea v Norwich

Most popular prediction: 2-1 (23.7%)

Swansea City's Ashley Williams celebrates scoring his side's second goal against Arsenal

It was a fantastic win at Arsenal and it was interesting that they'd clearly prioritised this game, with the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson on the bench. It was a head scratcher of a team that produced a head scratcher of a result.

Norwich, on the other hand, were unfortunate against Chelsea but are woeful on the road and can't keep a clean sheet.

However, this is a cup final for them and I think this game could open up to be a real cracker.

Jeff predicts: 2-2
