Orlando drew 1-1 with the New York Red Bulls overnight meaning the home team are still searching for their win of the season

Orlando City fought back to draw 1-1 with New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer on Friday evening.

The visitors opened the scoring after 19 minutes thanks to a strike from former Manchester City and Southampton frontman Bradley Wright-Phillips.

Sacha Kljestan's inch-perfect through-ball released Wright-Phillips and the Englishman made no mistake with a cool finish past Orlando goalkeeper Joe Bendik for his third goal of the season.

However, the home team levelled matters midway through the second half when Kevin Molino found himself in the right place to easily convert Cyle Larin's inviting cross, the Trinidad and Tobago international's fourth goal of the campaign.

In what was a bad-tempered affair, though, in which eight yellow cards were shown, Orlando were forced to play the final five minutes with only 10 men after Cristian Higuita was sent off.
