Dom Dwyer scored twice for Sporting Kansas City as they beat Seattle Sounders 3-0 at Sporting Park on Sunday.

The English forward opened the scoring after 21 minutes with a close-range header, before Jacob Peterson doubled Kansas City's advantage with a well-taken finish shortly before half-time.

Dwyer slotted home their third with 11 minutes to play to seal the victory, although they did lose Graham Zusi to a first-half injury.

The win sends Kansas City fourth in the Western Conference, four points behind third-place LA Galaxy.
