David Villa meets the Cookie Monster on new episode of Sesame Street

David Villa may be a World Cup winner - but his career may have just hit a new high after making a guest appearance on Sesame Street.
He has played with the likes of Lionel Messi and Xavi in his career - and now he can add the Cookie Monster to the list!
The New York City FC striker has filmed a segment with the Sesame Street characters in which he took part in a heading challenge and ate some cookies, as part of the "Love to Learn" campaign.
Villa said: "I grew up watching the show and now my children watch the show, so to me, it's a great honour to join the long list of notable people who have been a part of the historic program.
"I'm very proud to be able to be a part of the incredible group of athletes who have worked with Sesame Street."
