Frank Lampard has been ruled out for up to four weeks after suffering a calf injury while playing for New York City FC.

The former Chelsea midfielder picked up the knock during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Dallas, which left Patrick Vieira's side third in the Eastern Conference, two points behind leaders Toronto.

The club insist the injury is different to the one which sidelined the 38-year-old for the first 16 games of the season.
