Da Silva told Paraguayan newspaper
ABC Color: "We must reduce the errors in defence - that's the only way we will do well in the World Cup.
"It leaves us worried about the two goals we conceded against Ivory Coast."
Paraguay were held 2-2 by Ivory Coast on Sunday, recovering well after going two goals down.
They will now be looking to raise their game when they face Greece in their final pre-tournament friendly in Switzerland on Wednesday.
