Playmaker fully focused and confident ahead of Chile clash
Playmaker Andres Iniesta insists Spain are fully focused ahead of their crucial Group H clash with Chile.
The European champions need to win Friday's showdown in Pretoria to be certain of going through to the knockout phase.
Iniesta has been passed fit to play in the clash and he insists the Spanish squad are focused on the task in hand, as well as being confident of going through.
The midfielder said: "For us it's clear what we have to do - we have to beat Chile.
Clear idea
"We've got a clear idea about what we need to do and we're confident of reaching the next round. Nothing else is important."
Spanish coach Vicente del Bosque is expecting a tough test from the Chileans, who need just a point to guarantee progression as group leaders.
"The idea is to play to our own (strengths), take the initiative and take control of the game but we don't know if they will let us," said the Spanish coach.
"They can play different ways, they have good players and style of play. They're ready."
